Editorial 

Agri Boss continues it rapid expansion of product offerings and has announced the following new model tractor the 5504 with specifications and features that will be most attractive to the smaller property owner, or the larger property owner wanting a lower horsepower tractor for dedicated activities.

The release of Agri Boss 5504 50HP FWDA tractor  which is styled on the very successfully Agri Boss 8824, features a 8 x 8 shuttle shift, and is powered by a 3.83 Litre direct injection diesel engine.

The smooth four cylinder 3.83 litre engine produce maximum power at 2000 rpm and optinmum torque is produced between 1600 to 1800 rpm. The 5504 features a 8F/8R shuttle shift constant mesh transmission, selectable 2WD/4WD, dual stage clutch, 540/1000 rpm PTO, hydrostatic power steering, Category 2 three  point linkage, 2 sets of remotes, ROPS, canopy, rear wheel weights, full instrumentation and lighting.

The 3.08  tonne tractor is fitted with a combination of 8.3 front and 14.9-24 rear tyres to provide a substantially improved effectiveness of the 4 wheel drive system. 

A specific front end loader with quick release 4 in 1 bucket is available and is custom designed to suit the tractor and features level lift linkage, double pivot pin retention, single joy stick control, with electrically  controlled 3rd function.

The loader is rated at 700kg SWL, and optional interchangeable accessories available include bale forks,
